87 police reports against Tian Chua

On the other hand, a Sabah state assemblyman has proposed that the PKR vice-president be banned from the Land Below The Wind forever.
GEORGE TOWN: Police have received 87 reports against Tian Chua for his statement claiming that the terrorist intrusion in Lahad Datu, Sabah, was orchestrated by Umno.
Penang police chief Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the police reports were made by individuals, political parties and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
“The 87 police reports received until yesterday will be sent to Johor police contingent and Sabah police contingent for further action,” he told reporters after closing a basic training coruse for Police Volunteer Reserve (PVR) here today.
PKR vice-president Tian Chua reportedly said the death of two policemen in Lahad Datu on March 1 was orchestrated by Umno to scare people.
Meanwhile in LAHAD DATU, a Sabah state assemblyman today urged the state government to ban Tian Chua from entering the state after he alleged that the Philippines militant intrusion was a drama staged by Umno.
Lahad Datu state assemblyman Nasrun Datu Mansur said Tian Chua’s statement was defamatory and showed he did not value human lives.
“We don’t want him to bring unnatural culture to the state and hope he will not be allowed to set foot in Sabah ever,” he told reporters after lodging a report against Tian Chua at the Lahad Datu police station here today.
Nasrun, who is also Silam Umno division chief, said people of various sub-ethnicities in the country, especially in Sabah, should reject individuals who bring in foreign and rude culture.
Regarding Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak’s announcement to make five districts in the east coast of Sabah as special security areas, Nasrun said the news was much awaited by Lahad Datu residents.
“This is what we’ve been waiting to hear. Tight security is needed here because a large coastal area is involved,” he said.
Yesterday, Najib announced Lahad Datu, Tawau, Semporna, Sandakan and Kudat, as special security areas with Lahad Datu acting as the control centre.
