"Shit stirrers" & "kaki-pukuls": OMG, what sort of Cabinet have you picked, Najib Razak?

"Shit stirrers" & "kaki-pukuls": OMG, what sort of Cabinet have you picked, Najib Razak?
What do you make out of the kind of statements and rebuttals coming out from our elected and or appointed leaders these days – especially when words like “kaki pukul” and “shit stirrers” are spewed?
Just as when citizens were worried-wax about robbers striking even clinics and fleeing while citizens held under custody were said to be dying with brutal beatings and markings to their bodies, you suddenly get the leader of national security indirectly claiming he is a “kaki pukul”.
As reported, the Honorable Home Minister had in rebuttal in Parliament lambasted the querying opposition member of Parliament that the MP was a worse off “kaki pukul”.
Wonder if the Minister ever realizes the consequences of his losing his cool. By using the words “kaki pukul” , he will be perceived as being a “kaki pukul” himself. Would we blame and reprimand the citizens if they now questioned how come the Prime Minister has a “kaki pukul” to head the Home Ministry?
As if this “kaki pukul” nightmare was not enough, hot on its heels we hear of reports of yet another leader accusing the Opposition political party as “shit stirrers”.
OMG!! What kind of language is all these? Not only is it most demeaning to describe your opponents in such manner, it also means an insult to all the 51% of polling voters who cast their ballots for the Opposition.
Certainly our leaders should lead by example. Thoughts, words and deeds must reflect a higher degree of maturity, honor and decorum.
Bankrupt of professionalism
The words we use reflect what is going on inside our head and the feelings we harbor in our bosom. Hence “kaki pukul” and “shit stirrers” is an indication that we are fast losing our sensibilities and are bankrupt in so far as professionalism is concerned.
Certainly, the mood reflects that democracy is being deemed meaningless both within and outside the august House of Parliament. Indeed then, we have nothing much to be proud of, do we?
Would the Prime Minister who took great pride in appointing his commanders into positions not want to take a relook? Unless of course if he too feels that "kaki pukul" is okay just as much as words like "shit stirrers" is also okay to attack your opponents.
